The Israeli prison service attacked and violently beat 90 Palestinian prisoners in Gilboa prison, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said Friday.
The PPS affirmed that heavy-armed Israeli special forces stormed section 1 in Gilboa prison overnight and carried out a violent search campaign.
The violent search campaign lasted till morning hours.

Nearly 90 prisoners were severely beaten during the campaign.
The Israeli prison service also cut off power and water supplies in the prison section.
Gilboa prison has witnessed growing tension after Israeli authorities imposed punitive measures against the prisoners following the escape of six prisoners last month.
