DaysofPal – The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Monday that five Palestinians were killed and ten others wounded across the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. The ministry said several victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in streets, while ambulance and civil defense teams remain unable to reach them.
Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital reported that one Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces outside their deployment zones in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, where the area also came under heavy artillery fire.
Israeli forces continued their military operations across the enclave, shelling western areas of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. Israeli naval boats also opened fire toward the coast of Khan Younis in the south.
Artillery shelling and airstrikes targeted Israeli military deployment areas east of Khan Younis and Gaza City. In addition, Israeli forces carried out a demolition operation within their deployment zones in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, located southeast of Gaza City.
Israeli military vehicles advanced into the vicinity of Siyam Street and the Triangle area in Al-Zaytoun, where the neighborhood experienced further artillery bombardment. Medical sources confirmed on Sunday that Israeli fire killed four Palestinians, including a child, in the same area.
According to the latest figures released by the Gaza Ministry of Health, Israeli violations of the ceasefire have exceeded 1,500 incidents since the agreement took effect on October 10. These violations resulted in the killing of at least 581 Palestinians, with 1,553 others injured, in addition to the recovery of 717 bodies.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been conducting a genocide in the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring tens of thousands of Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll has reached 72,032 killed and 171,661 wounded. Ongoing military attacks and repeated violations of the ceasefire continue to claim civilian lives, deepen the humanitarian catastrophe, and leave many victims trapped under rubble or unreachable by rescue teams.
