DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth at dawn on Wednesday during a military raid on the village of Jeet, east of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank. According to family sources, the soldiers stormed the home of 17-year-old Jassim al-Sada and executed him with four bullets while he was sleeping in his bed.

Witnesses reported that heavily armed Israeli soldiers broke down the door of the family home before opening fire on the unarmed youth inside his bedroom. Al-Sada, described as the youngest son in his family and a street vendor who operated a small stall in the village, was left bleeding on the ground. Soldiers reportedly prevented medical assistance from reaching him and later seized his body.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that Israeli forces withheld the body before eventually being handed over to their crews at the entrance to the village.

The killing of Al-Sada comes amid a broader escalation of Israeli military operations and settler attacks across the occupied West Bank, which have intensified in parallel with the ongoing war in Gaza.

On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces injured a Palestinian youth and a 60-year-old woman and arrested two others in separate raids and settler attacks in several areas of the West Bank.

In the town of Zita, north of Tulkarem, local sources reported that occupation forces raided homes, vandalized property, and beat 19-year-old Sharar Abu al-Ezz, leaving him with injuries and bruises. Another youth, Mohammed al-Tayeh, was arrested during the same raid. Soldiers reportedly seized a home in the town and turned it into a military post, launching drones and detaining several residents.

Further west in the town of Deir Ballut near Salfit, Israeli forces bulldozed agricultural land, closed three secondary roads, and destroyed a small agricultural room. A separate raid was carried out in Azzun, east of Qalqilya.

In the central West Bank, settlers set fire to agricultural lands in the village of Al-Mughayyar, northeast of Ramallah. The attack was followed by the arrival of Israeli soldiers who provided cover for the settlers and prevented Palestinian residents from approaching the area.

In the south, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams treated a 60-year-old woman who was assaulted by settlers in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the town of Dura, southwest of Hebron, although no arrests or injuries were reported there.

According to the latest Palestinian data, Israeli forces and settlers have killed at least 970 Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of the Gaza war. More than 7,000 others have been wounded, and over 17,000 arrested in a systematic campaign of repression targeting Palestinian communities across the occupied territory.
