DaysofPal– Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes early Tuesday morning, targeting residential areas east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, in one of the most intense bombardments since the ceasefire went into effect nearly a month ago.
According to local reporters, Israeli forces detonated several residential buildings in the eastern districts of Khan Younis, leaving large swaths of destruction and forcing families to flee in panic.
The strikes came amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement signed on October 10 between Hamas and the Israeli occupation under international mediation.
On Monday evening, Israeli artillery also shelled eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City, including al-Tuffah and al-Shuja’iyya.
Three young girls were reportedly injured by live fire in al-Shuja’iyya during the same wave of attacks.
Ismail al-Thawabta, head of Gaza’s Government Media Office, said the Israeli forces have committed at least 194 violations of the ceasefire since it came into effect.
He condemned the repeated bombings as “clear proof that the Israeli occupation has no intention of respecting the truce or easing the suffering of civilians.”

The renewed attacks have sparked growing fears among residents that the fragile ceasefire could collapse entirely, as the Israeli occupation continues its operations across Gaza under the pretext of “security measures,” despite international calls to maintain calm.
