DaysofPal- At least 11 Palestinians, including children, were killed early Wednesday as Israeli forces continued shelling the cities of Khan Younis and Gaza City, marking new and severe violations of the ceasefire agreement.
A source in emergency and ambulance services said four people, including a child, were killed when Israeli artillery struck the al-Zeitoun and al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City.
The victims were identified as Ali Ahmad Salmi, 60; Basina Mohammad Ayad, 55; and five-month-old Saqr Badr al-Hatto.
Local sources reported that Israeli artillery also targeted a residential building belonging to the Haboush family on al-Hajar Street in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.
The strike killed Rital Mahmoud Haboush, 13; Yousef Mohammad Haboush, 40; Ahmad Talaat Haboush, 22; and Bilal Ashraf Haboush, 16.
In a separate incident, two young men—Mahmoud Ayman al-Rass, 21, and Suleiman Abu Sitta, 28—were also killed.
Late Tuesday night, local sources confirmed the killing of the wife of Dr. Ahmad al-Rubaie, head of the Pulmonary Diseases Department at al-Shifa Hospital. She was shot by Israeli forces near the al-Shuja’iya Square area in the al-Tuffah neighborhood of eastern Gaza City.
According to the sources, she was killed by fire from an Israeli quadcopter drone in the vicinity of al-Shuja’iya Square.
Meanwhile, in central Gaza, Israeli artillery continued to bombard the northeastern areas of al-Bureij refugee camp, according to local reports.
Israeli shelling also targeted homes along al-Hajar Street, the area surrounding al-Mahatta Park, UNRWA warehouses, and the al-Shurafa roundabout on Yaffa Street in eastern Gaza City, as the escalation continued across multiple areas of the enclave.
