Days of Palestine – Nablus
Israeli extremist settlers uprooted Sunday dozens of olive trees in the town of Azmut, east of Nablus, local sources reported.
They said that the farmer, Murad Amer, was shocked while on his way to his northern land that Israeli settlers had wreaked havoc on his land and uprooted and destroyed nearly 30 olive trees.
He had begun to reclaim his land two years earlier and plant olive trees, but six months earlier the occupation had prevented them from reaching that area.
The villages east of Nablus come under frequent attack from settlers of the “Alon Moreh” settlement on the lands of Azmut, Salem, and Deir al-Hatab villages.
