A group of Israeli settlers on Sunday ignited Palestinian agricultural fields in the Hawara district of the northern West Bank, resulting in significant damage to crops, as reported by Ghassan Daghlas, a regional official.
He reported that settlers from the extreme Yitzhar settlement had infiltrated the fields in the northern area of the town and ignited the crops.
The Palestinians hurriedly extinguished the flames, managing to prevent further destruction.
Despite the presence of Israeli occupation forces in the region, meant to safeguard the vulnerable Palestinians, settler assaults on Hawara are occurring nearly every day.
