Israeli Settlers’ gangs stormed Mosque of Orief village in Occupied West Band city of Nablus on Thursday 22 June 2023, and cause great damage in the mosque, tearing the holy book of Quran and throwing it to the ground.
The Israeli settlers’ attack on the mosque coincided with settlers’ invasion to the yards of Aqsa Mosque.
A wide circulated video on social media documented the attacks by Israeli settlers, which is deemed widely by Palestinian people as well as Muslim nation as a religious war the Israeli occupation is waging against Islamic holy places.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli settlers’ crimes against the mosque in the village of Orif, calling for bringing the criminal settlers’ to justice.
Moreover, the Islamic Forum for Development and Education in Senegal strongly condemned the crimes of Israeli settlers against the mosques in occupied Palestine , noting the escalating such crimes including insulting the holy Quran is very dangerous.
