Israeli settlers carried out a series of attacks across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Monday, targeting Palestinian homes, property, farmland, and grazing areas amid escalating violence.
In southern Nablus, settlers assaulted residents and attacked homes in several towns and villages, while also setting up tents on Palestinian land in the village of Jalud in what residents described as an attempt to seize territory.
Local sources said settlers stormed the Al-Dhahra area on the outskirts of Beita, where they attacked homes and damaged private property. They also assaulted municipal workers who were repairing a water line in the Qamas area of the town.
Meanwhile, in eastern Nablus, settlers gathered near Joseph’s Tomb, where they reportedly chanted racist slogans and vandalized public property near surrounding refugee camps.
In a separate incident, settlers attacked a home in Khirbet Al-Marajim, part of the lands of Duma. The house belongs to Naif Mousa Muslim, and settlers reportedly damaged the property’s water meter.
Elsewhere, a group of settlers erected tents in the Al-Dhahr area east of Jalud, another move Palestinians say is intended to confiscate land.
In Salfit, groups of settlers entered the town of Kifl Haris under the protection of Israeli forces. Residents said they threw stones at Palestinian homes and damaged property, shattering windows and causing panic among families.
Further south in Masafer Yatta, settlers continued attacks that began at dawn by chasing shepherds, blocking them from reaching grazing land, and closing side roads leading to schools and farming communities.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,819 attacks during March alone, including 497 settler attacks and 1,322 by Israeli forces.
The incidents were concentrated in Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and Jerusalem, and included physical assaults, tree uprooting, field burnings, land access restrictions, property seizures, and demolitions of homes and agricultural structures.
The latest attacks come amid a sharp rise in settler violence and Israeli military raids across the West Bank, further increasing tensions throughout the occupied territory.
