Health authorities and other sources reported that one Palestinian died and eight others were wounded on Tuesday when the Israeli occupation forces invaded Balata refugee camp in the northern part of the West Bank city of Nablus.
Faris Abdul Munim Hashash, aged 19, was taken to Rafidya Hospital in Nablus by the Health Ministry after the Israeli occupation forces shot him in the chest, abdomen, and lower limbs. He was declared deceased.
The Israeli occupation forces stormed the camp with a large force and encircled a house where a Palestinian who was believed to be wanted allegedly stayed. Nevertheless, the occupation forces withdrew from the camp without capturing anyone.
According to the Red Crescent, violent confrontations erupted, where Israeli forces killed Hashash and the injured of eight others.
