Hebrew sources: The Israeli “police” will ask the Israeli occupation court to release the settler who killed Ali Harb, 27 from Iskaka, Salfit District, and transfer his sentence to house arrest
Ali Harb was killed on his property in Salfit by an attack done at the hands of a group of Israeli settlers as one of them stabbed Harb with a knife stabbed directly to the heart which led to the Palestinian man’s demise, on Tuesday, June 21st.
A number of Palestinians tried to reach and resuscitate the young man but weren’t allowed as the Israeli guards threatened them and shot bullets in the air as a warning.
Harb was finally transferred to the hospital to be announced dead a short while after.
The head of the Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission, Muayyad Shaaban, stated that the attack on Harb took place on land privately owned by Palestinians, which settlers are trying to seize.
He added that a group of Palestinians was defending their land when settlers from the settlement of ‘Taffouh’ established a settlement outpost on it.
Shaaban stressed that this crime is “a continuation of the extremist right-wing racist policy sponsored by the government of Naftali Bennett,” noting that “the attacks of the settlers are organized and protected by the army.” and was proven right today as the killers’ sentence has been reduced to a slap on the hand only two weeks later.
