Israeli occupation forces shot and killed Thursday, 23 March 2023 a Palestinian young man with live bullets in the occupied West Bank village of Izbat Shufa, southeast of Tulkarm.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation military troops invaded the town of Izbat Shufa, closed its main entrance, and surrounded a house owned by a Palestinian resident.
Israeli military forces targeted the house with live bullets, killing the 25-year-old Palestinain youth Amir Imad Abu Khadija according to the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC).
Medical sources stated that Abu Khadija arrived at Thabet Hospital with a bullet wound to the head that led to a complete laceration of the skull and brain, in addition to several bullets in the lower extremities.
For several months, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out military raids in the occupied West Bank, concentrated in Nablus and Jenin.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli forces have killed more Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 2023 than in any single calendar year since the Second Intifada.
Since the beginning of 2023, at least 90 Palestinian people have been killed in Israeli attacks across the occupied Palestinian lands, including at least 17 children and 2 women.
