Israeli occupation forces killed Monday, 12 December 2022 Palestinian girl during a military incursion into the occupied West Bank camp of Jenin.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the 16-year-old Palestinian girl Jana Zakarneh was shot and murdered by Israeli occupation ammunition in the head.
Three Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ live bullets during the military invasion of Jenin camp, the Ministry added.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation troops barged their way into Jenin camp and detained 3 Palestinian young men including 2 siblings identified as Thaer and Muhammad Jihad Hatnawi along with Hassan Ahmed Merhi.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occuiped West Bank and Jerusalem have seen increased near-daily military raids and violations by Israeli forces in recent months.
Jana’s murder raise the toll of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation in 2022 to 219 including 166 in the West Bank and 53 in the Gaza Strip.
