Israeli occupation court transferred a Palestinian detainee to administrative detention today Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
The Israeli Ofer Military Court reportedly transferred detainee Adham Hanisha, from Jenin, to administrative detention for six consecutive months.
The Israeli occupation authorities claim that the Palestinian administrative detainees have secret files that cannot be disclosed at all, so the detainee does not know the length of his sentence or the charge against him.
The administrative detainee is often subject to the renewal of the detention period more than once, and it may sometimes reach a full year, which is also subject to renewal.
The Israeli occupation currently retains over 1200 administrative detainees inside its prisons, most of whom are in prisons (Ofer, the Negev, and Megiddo), including 14 children and 3 female prisoners.
