The Palestinian Prisoners Media Office stated that the Israeli occupation prison administration transferred Saturday, May 6, 2023, the Palestinian sick detainee Walid Daqqa from the Ramla prison clinic to Soroka hospital due to his deteriorated health inside Israeli prisons.
The Office reported that the Israeli transfer of the detainee Abu Daqqa was due to the deterioration of his health as a result of the Israeli medical negligence against him as well as the other sick Palestinian detainees.
Five days ago, the Israeli prison administration transferred the detainee Daqqa to the Ramla prison clinic after his health deteriorated.
Two weeks ago, Daqqa underwent resection surgery to a part of his right lung, so he needs intensive health follow-up.
According to Wa’ed Association for Detainees and Ex-detainees, the Israeli occupation systematically practices medical negligence against the detainee Daqqa to kill him slowly in cold blood.
The sick detainee Walid Daqqa has lost the ability to speak for many days, and he currently cannot move or walk.
According to Palestinian statistics, Israeli occupation currently detains 4765 Palestinians, including 29 females, 150 minors, 1016 administrative detainees, and 600 patients.
