Israeli media revealed Wednesday, August 23, some details about the Israeli occupation’s cabinet session, held yesterday, on the latest developments and methods of escalating attacks against the Palestinian resistance.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that the cabinet session was dominated by sharp conflicts between the extremist Israeli ministers, the top of whom are ‘Israeli National Security’ Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and War Minister Yoav Gallant.
Ben Gvir demanded Gallant to turn a deaf ear to the Israeli colonizers’ violence, and to attack the Palestinians instead.
According to the channel, the cabinet decided to widen the scope of attacks not only on the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, but also against the Palestinian resistance factions and those who support Palestine as well.
However, no clear details were available on the location, times, and to-be-targeted figures.
The Israeli occupation indirectly threatened to assassinate the Palestinian leaders, even though such a move would lead to a new escalation with the Palestinian resistance.
Despite its repeated pledge not to assassinate the Palestinian resistance leaders, which blows the situation up every time, the occupation persists in using harmful strategies to shake the Palestinians’ security and stability.
Last May, the Israeli occupation launched massive airstrikes on many areas of the besieged Gaza Strip, and assassinated six commanders of Islamic Jehad and killed dozens of civilians, which exploded the situation and led to a human crisis.
