Israeli artillery on Tuesday targeted a military post located east of the Gaza Strip.
Following the death of Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan in an Israeli jail due to medical negligence, Israeli forces fired artillery in response to the rocket fire that had been launched from Gaza.
No injuries or deaths have been reported so far after the attack.
Khader Adnan, a Palestinian prisoner, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, after refusing food for 86 days to protest the unfair administrative detention he was subjected to in Israeli prisons.
Despite his health deteriorating due to his extended hunger strike, the courts of the Israeli occupation denied his appeal for his freedom, ultimately leading to his death.
