The Israeli Occupation Court renewed Tuesday, March 14, the administrative detention of the Palestinian detainee Khalil Al-Hanbali, from occupied Nablus, for a period of 4 months.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office stated that Israeli occupation forces had detained Al-Hanbali on 4/6/2022 after raiding his house, and transferred him to the “Petah Tikva” detention center.
It explained that the occupation court transferred the detainee Al-Hanbali, a week after his arrest, to administrative detention for a period of 6 months. when he spent 6 months in prison, it renewed his administrative detention for a second time for additional six months.
Today, the Israeli court renewed the administrative detention for him for the third time for additional four months, on the recommendation of the Israeli “intelligence services”, which claimed that he has a “secret file confirming his danger to the security of the occupation”.
Al-Hanbali has spent 12 months now in the administrative detention center, and he was detained several times and spent years in the Israeli occupation prisons.
The Israeli occupation currently holds over 1000 administrative detainees inside its prisons, most of whom are in prisons (Ofer, the Negev, and Megiddo), including 7 children and two female prisoners, namely Shuruq al-Badan and Raghad al-Fani.
