The Israeli occupation refused on Sunday, November 6, 2022, to release a Palestinian administrative detainee after an agreement was reached between the Israeli Prisons Administration and him according to which he would be released today.
The Palestinian Prisoner Club said that the occupation authorities denied the agreement on the issue of administrative detainee Adal Moussa, who went on a hunger strike that lasted 37 days against his administrative detention, and suspended it after the agreement that took place on September 12, 2022.
The Prisoner Club added in a statement today, Sunday, that the occupation authorities issued a new administrative detention order against him for a new period of three months, knowing that he was scheduled to be released today.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces detained Adel Moussa and his brother Ahmed on the seventh of last August, and they were transferred to administrative detention.
Adel is a former Palestinian detainee, who spent about seven years in the Israeli occupation prisons, five of them continuously. He is married and the father of two children.
There are more than 800 Palestinian administrative detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons without charges or trials, and the occupation authorities refuse to release them.
