The Israeli occupation court postponed Monday, June 12, the trial of the Jerusalemite journalist, Lama Ghosheh, until July 11, the Palestinian Prisoner Club Society (PCS) reported.
PCS indicated that journalist Ghosheh has been sentenced to house arrest since September 2022 after Israeli forces detained her. The Israeli occupation has released her under many conditions, the top of which are house arrest and stopping the use of social media platforms, computers, and mobile.
It stressed that the Israeli occupation’s imposition of more restrictions on journalist Ghosheh is part of the systematic Israeli violations against Palestinian journalists and freedom of opinion and expression.
The Israeli occupation currently detains 17 Palestinian journalists among about 5000 citizens, including 150 minors, 29 women, and 750 patients.
