Israeli occupation forces notified Thursday, 1 December 2022 Palestinian citizens to halt construction on two Palestinian houses east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
Isrseli occupation forces raided the town of Khallet Al-Mayah, east of Yatta and ordered to stop work on two houses under construction belonging to Palestinian man Mohammed Hassan Dawood and Ismail Jabr Salama in addition to an agricultural barracks, reported Fouad Al-Amor, the coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees in Masafer Yatta.
Masafer Yatta and surrounding Palestinian communities are subject to ongoing Israeli violations, including multiple assaults by illegal colonizers against Palestinian farmers and their lands.
Masafer Yatta, located in southern Hebron Hills, extends over an area of 30,000 dunams, with a population of 2,500 residents distributed over 12 villages or hamlets.
More than 2000 Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta are facing imminent expulsion from their homes by the Israeli occupation under the pretext of classifying it as a military training area for the Israeli forces in which the Palestinians have no right to live.
