Israeli occupation forces notified Wednesday, 9 November 2022 the demolition of five Palestinian-owned tourist facilities in the village of Duma, south of Nablus.
Suleiman Dawabsheh, head of the Duma village council reported that Israeli occupation forces notified the demolition of a farm built on an area of one dunam and 200 meters owned by Palestinian man Nasr Dawabsheh, in addition to four tourist facilities owned by Palestinian man Ahmed Salouda.
Dawabsheh pointed out that Israeli occupation forces will embark on the demolition on November 13, and the Palestinian owners were given the option to self-demolish it or bear the heavy cost of the demolition if Israeli bulldozers did so.
During the years 2021 and 2022 Israeli occupation handed the Palestinian townspeople about 100 notices to stop work and construction in Palestinian-owned homes and facilities under the pretext of their presence in areas classified as ‘C’.
