Israeli occupation navy boats opened Saturday 23 April 2022 gunfire at Gaza fishermen while sailing a few nautical miles on the northern Gaza Strip coast.
Israeli occupation boats chased fishermen when they were three nautical miles in the sea and opened fire at them, forcing them to return to shore to avoid being hit or their boats sinking.
Gaza is an occupied territory, having no control over its borders, territorial waters, or airspace. Every two in three Palestinians in Gaza is a refugee and the Israeli occupation forbids them from exercising their right to return as enshrined in international law.
