Israeli Occupation handed over on Sunday, 26 March 2023 the body of a Palestinian detainee died in Israeli jails due to deliberate medical negligence in February 2023.
The Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs received the body of the slain Palestinian detainee Ahmed Badr Abdullah Abu Ali, 48, a resident of the southern West Bank city of Yatta, near Hebron. Ahmed, father-of-nine, died in the Israeli Soroka Hospital due to Israel’s systematic medical negligence.
Abu Ali detained since 2012 and sentenced to 12 years in imprisonment. He only had two years left before his release. Throughout his imprisonment years, he suffered from several diseases, chronic heart problems, and diabetes.
