Israeli occupation forces fired Thursday, 6 October 2022 tear gas canisters toward Palestinian farmers and their agricultural lands in the Al-Sarhi area, east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Local media sources reported that Israeli occupation forces stationed inside military sites east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip intensively fired tear gas bombs at the Palestinian farmers, forcing them to flee from their workplaces.
It is worth mentioning that the IOF stationed in the east and north of the Gaza Strip deliberately shoot and fired gas on a daily basis at Palestinian workers, farmers, and shepherds, depriving them of their only source of livelihood.
Israeli occupation continues its illegal practices against Palestinian workers, which are part of Israel’s illegal siege that amounts to a prohibited collective punishment under international law.
