The Israeli oppression forces renewed on Monday, November 21, 2022, their attack on Palestinian detainees in the Israeli Negev Prison, during their storming of Section (2) and abusing the detainees held there.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority stated that the Israeli repression units stormed the section and conducted provocative searches inside, transferred the detainees, and distributed them to the other sections.
For days, a state of tension has prevailed among the Palestinian detainees in the Israeli Negev prison, due to the continuous attacks by the Israeli prison administration on them.
The occupation authorities deliberately carry out provocative inspections aimed at abusing the Palestinian detainees.
On October 23, the Israeli repression units stormed the Negev prison and attacked Palestinian detainees there during their search of sections 5 and 6 in the prison.
The prison administration uses special units to suppress the Palestinian detainees, which are “Masada”, “Doror”, “Alymaz”, “Yamam” and “Nahshon”.
The mission of these units is mainly storming the detainees’ rooms, terrorizing and suppressing them, and dealing brutally with them.
Until the end of last October, the number of Palestinian detainees in the occupation prisons reached about 4,760, including 33 females and 160 children, and 820 administrative detainees, including 3 females and 4 children.
