Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire Saturday at a Palestinian in Jerusalem critically injuring him.
Local sources said that IOF shot the Palestinian, who was not immediately identified, near the al-Thouri intersection, claiming he attempted a stabbing attack.
Video footage was released for the shooting attack showed that the Palestinian, who was shot, stand and do nothing.

Meanwhile, the Hebrew media claimed that the Palestinian young man was carrying out a stabbing attack.

Israeli occupation forces killed nine Palestinians in recent weeks.
Last week, IOF shot dead three Palestinian young men in Qalandia refugee camp, north of the occupied Jerusalem, and injured nine others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Health said that Israeli occupation forces have killed 20 Palestinians in the occupied territories since the start of this year.
