Israeli occupation forces shot and killed on Thursday, 15 June 2023 a Palestinian youth during a military raid into the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the 20-year-old Palestinian youth Khalil Yahya Anis was killed by Israeli occupation forces’ live ammunition in the head during a military raid into the old city of Nablus.
The director of the Red Crescent Ambulance Center in Nablus Ahmed Jibril stated that Israeli forces wounded two young Palestinian men with live bullets in the head and thigh, one of them in critical condition in addition to 170 cases of gas suffocation.
Israeli troops prevented the Palestinian medical crews and ambulances from reaching the scene, the Palestinian Red Crescent added.
Moreover, Israeli forces surrounded the home of the Palestinian detainee Osama Al-Taweel and blew up the entire house.
For several months, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out military raids in the occupied West Bank, concentrated in Nablus and Jenin.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli forces killed more Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 2023 than in any single calendar year since the Second Intifada.
Since the beginning of 2023, at least 161 Palestinian people have been killed in Israeli attacks across the occupied Palestinian lands 33 of whom were killed during the latest attacks on Gaza.
