Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed Saturday, May 13, 2023, two Palestinian young men and seriously injured others after a barbarian raid on the Balata camp, east of occupied Nablus.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the two Palestinian young men, Sa’ed Jihad Shaker Mashah (32), and Adnan Wassim Yousef Al-Araj (19), were killed by Israeli live bullets in the head during a military raid, in addition to 3 injuries in the neck, abdomen, and thigh.

Ahmed Jibril, the director of ambulance and emergency at the Palestinian Red Crescent in occupied Nablus, stated that three Palestinian citizens were wounded by live bullets, one of them a 50-year-old woman who was hit by four bullets, and her health condition is critical. Several others suffocated from tear gas.

Jibril indicated that the occupation forces prevented Red Crescent crews from entering the camp, as they were also subjected to direct sound bombs to prevent them from entering the camp.

For several months, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out military raids in the occupied West Bank, concentrated in Nablus and Jenin.

According to data collected by Days of Palestine DOP, Israeli occupation forces and settlers murdered 12 Palestinians, including two children in April 2023, mostly in the occupied West Bank.
