Israeli occupation forces Kidnapped on Sunday, 6 August 2023, at least 9 Palestinians after breaking into their homes in the occupied West Bank.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the heavily armed Israeli forces broke into occupied West Bank cities and detained several Palestinians after raiding their houses and terrorizing their families in multiple military raids across the occupied West Bank.
In Jenin, Israeli forces detained two freed Palestinian detainees identified as Majdi Abdullah Sobeihat and Muhammad Faraj Sobeihat.
In Hebron, Israeli special forces arrested at least 3 Palestinians including a child after raiding and searching their family’s homes in the Khallet Al-Dar village, west of the city.
The detainees were identified as Khader Shadeed Al-Awewi, Bilal Abu Hussein, and Yahya Zakaria Muheisen.
In Jerusalem, Israeli forces detained 2 Palestinians identified as Abd al-Al Shweiki and Ahmed Shweiki during a military raid into the tal-Thawri neighborhood in the city.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have seen increased near-daily military raids and violations by Israeli forces in recent months.
In June 2023, Israeli occupation forces arrested 380 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip including 45 children and 10 women.
Its worth noting that there are 4700 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails illegally held by Israeli occupation including 30 women and 400 children.
