Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed and raided Sunday several cities on the occupied West Bank. They kidnapped six Palestinian citizens among them two children from the occupied city of Hebron in the West Bank.
Asra Media Office said in a statement that the IOF kidnapped the 16-year-old, Ibraheem Jawbra, and the 15-year-old Eslam Alra’i after raiding their homes in Al-Aruoob camp as well as the young man Ahnaf ‘qteesh from Sa’eer town in the occupied Hebron.
The Office added that the IOF also kidnapped two liberated Palestinian prisoners after raiding their homes and tampering with their contents. They both identified as Azmy Bayood and Jihad Abu Liyla.
Meanwhile, the IOF kidnapped the Palestinian youth Layth Abdulhameed from ‘enaboos village south of Nablus while he was walking, the office confirmed.
In Jenin, the occupation forces raided at dawn several Palestinian homes without arresting anyone.
The Israeli occupation forces frequently carries out wide-ranging arrest campaigns across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.
Palestinian NGOs estimated that there are around 4,500 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails, with at least 500 held under the Israeli administrative detention policy without charge or trial.
