Days of Palestine – Ramallah
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched Thursday an unjustified massive arrest campaign, targeting 26 Palestinian citizens of the occupied West Bank.
IOF kidnapped the ex-prisoner Anwar Hamed Abu Bakr, the two young men, Arafat Fayez Amarneh, and Arab Khaled Qabha, while they were passing through the Dotan military checkpoint near the town of Yabed, south of Jenin.
From Qalqilya, the occupation forces detained Basem Sasa’, 60, Muhammad Khader, 49, Muhammad Khadraj, 35, Erbakan Muhammad Tabsieh, 26, Baraa Iyad Hammad, 25, and Anas Malik Dawood, 24 years old.
From Ramallah, the IOF arrested the ex-prisoner Yousef Raed Hamed (20 years), from Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, and Raed Shawamra from the city.
From Nablus, the occupation forces arrested the ex-prisoner, Muhammad Lafi, from the town of Hawara.
From Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 14 Palestinian citizens, including kids among them Abdel Moneim Jaradat, his son Basil (15 years), Bashar Idris Jaradat, Jihad Omar Jaradat, and his son Omar (14 years).
The number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in occupation prisons amounted to 4,700 as at the end of April 2022, including 32 prisoners, 170 minors and more than 600 administrative detainees.
