Israeli occupation forces invaded Wednesday, 29 September 2022 the occuiped West Bank town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and fired live bullets and stun grenades excessively toward the Palestinian residents, injuring 8 Palestinians and suffocating dozens of others.
Local media reported that Israeli occupation forces broke into occuiped Hebron villages and fired live bullets and stun grenades at the Palestinian youths standing up against Israeli occupation military raids, injuring three Palestinians with live bullets, five with rubber-coated metal bullets, in addition to suffocating dozens of others.
In this vein, Israeli occupation forces set up several military checkpoints in different parts of occuiped Hebron and closed the southern entrance to the city, restricting the movement of Palestinian citizens.
IOF searched Palestinian residents’ vehicles near Beit Anun, north of Hebron, after closing the military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Sa’ir.
In the southwest of Hebron, Israeli troops raided a number of Palestinian villages and towns including Beit Awa, Kharsa, and Tabqa, declaring them a closed military zone.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank have seen increased raids by Israeli forces in recent months.
