Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Saturday at dawn Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that hours after the IOF killed a Palestinian child in the town, they shot and injured at least four Palestinians in addition to causing dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Last night, The Ministry of Health said that the child, Zaid Mohammad Ghuneim, 15-year-old, was injured by live gunshots in the back and neck and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition before he was announced dead of his wounds.

The IOF stormed the at-Tal area in the Old City of Al-Khader, leading to protests before the forces attacked the Palestinians with live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs, sources confirmed.

Medical sources stated that the IOF shot a young man with a live round in the leg and three with rubber-coated steel bullets.

They added that many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises.

The invasion into the town came just hours after Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child, Zeid Mohammad Ghneim, 16, after shooting him with three live rounds in the chest.

Palestinian medics rushed the child to the al- Yamamah hospital in the Al-Khader town, where he succumbed to his serious wounds.
