Israeli occupation forces injured Saturday, March 4, 2023, dozens of Palestinian citizens during an Israeli military raid into the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

The Palestinian activist in Beit Ummar, Mohammad Awad, reported that violent confrontations took place between the Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces after they prevented Palestinian mourners from reaching the funeral cemetery at the entrance to the town.

He added that the occupation soldiers fired live bullets and sound and gas bombs at the citizens, causing a shrapnel wound to a young man in the foot, in addition to dozens of suffocation cases.

Awad pointed out that the Israeli forces climbed the roofs of some Palestinian houses in the area and closed the iron gate at the entrance to the town.
