The Israeli occupation authorities handed out, on Saturday, August 27th, 2022, a demolition notice of two rooms belonging to a house in the village of Al Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem.
The owner of the house, Arafat Abu Rezeq, said, that the Israeli occupation forces handed him a notice of demolition of two brick rooms, that were added over the house located in the Ein Gweizeh area, within 15 days.
It is noteworthy that the “Ain Gwiza” area has been subjected to an Israeli settlement attack for years, represented by demolishing houses, seizing land, handing out demolition notices, and stopping construction.
Demolition of Palestinian structures is seen as an attempt to control the demographic population’s order of the area as well as an attempt to make the Palestinians’ life in the territories ever more difficult.
