The Palestinian health ministry reported that Israeli occupation forces fatally shot a 17–year–old Palestinian on Tuesday during a raid in the occupied West Bank.
At dawn, Israeli occupation forces who raided Nablus shot Hamzeh al–Ashkar in the face, according to the ministry.
The death of al–Ashqar has brought the total number of Palestinians slain by Israeli occupation forces since the start of 2023 to 42, including nine minors and an elderly female.
On Tuesday morning, the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that Israeli occupation forces apprehended 18 Palestinians in the town of Burqin close to Jenin situated in the northern West Bank.
Israeli raids have caused an increase in tension, raising concerns of a potential surge in violence.
