Israeli occupation forces demolished Thursday, 1 December 2022 two houses belonging to two Palestinian brothers in the town of Al-Ramadin, southwest of Hebron.
Israeli occupation accompanied by military bulldozers invaded Al-Ramadin town and demolished my son’s two houses after forcibly expelling them, said Zidane Zagharneh, the two brothers’ father.
Israeli bulldozers demolished the 140 square meters home of the Palestinain man Salah after expelling him by force along with his brother Izz al-Din’s 120 square meters home which is under construction, under the pretext of not having a permit.
Israeli occupation is trying in various ways to forcibly displace Palestinians from their own lands and demolish their homes in favor of settlement expansion using pretexts most notably building without a permit.
During the first five months of 2022, Israeli occupation demolished 300 Palestinian-owned structures in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, according to the United Nations Organization for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OCHA).
The organization explained that most of the demolitions were carried out under the pretext of lacking a building permit, noting that “it is almost impossible for Palestinians to obtain such or that permit.”
