Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, a Palestinian house in the town of Al-Mazra’a al-Qibliya, northwest of Ramallah.
The mayor of Al-Mazra’a al-Qibliya, Bassam Al-Khatib, stated that a large force of the occupation army, accompanied by several bulldozers, demolished the house of the Palestinian citizen Asaad Ghazi Shritah, located in the “Ain Harasha” area west of the village.
He added that the Israeli occupation did not notify the homeowners of their intention to demolish the house beforehand.
Furthermore, the house had been standing for over 20 years, with an area of approximately 100 square meters, located in Area C and in close proximity to the settlement outpost of “Harsa”.
Al-Khatib pointed out that the settlers in this outpost are considered extremist radicals who attack the Palestinians whenever they have the opportunity.
It is worth mentioning that the occupation authorities have confiscated 6,000 dunums of the village’s total area, estimated at around 13,000.
The village is surrounded on three sides by settlements and settlement outposts, namely the settlements of “Nahliel” and “Talmon,” and the outposts of “Harsa” and “Kiryat Ra’anim.”
