Israeli soldiers, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, detained and repeatedly assaulted elderly man near Ramallah, in the central part of the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.
Fouad Moutee, head of the Jaljulya village council, said that Omar Abdulmajeed As’ad was going home after a visit to his relatives when Israeli soldiers stopped his vehicle, blindfolded him, handcuffed his hands, and harassed him before leaving him in a building that was under construction.
He added that the soldiers did the same to four other citizens.
The Palestinians found his corpse approximately at 4 at dawn in the under-construction building, after the soldiers withdrew from the village.
