Israeli occupation forces completed another demolition of a Palestinian-owned house today, this one located in the village of Irtas in the Bethlehem area, following upon their previous demolition of a home in the vicinity of Jericho, an ancient West Bank city.
Lutfi Assad, the head of the Irtas village council, reported that Israeli occupation forces invaded an area of the village and demolished a home measuring 150 square meters, which belonged to Ibrahim Ayesh.
This comes as the Israeli occupation continues to demolish Palestinian-owned homes in the West Bank at an accelerated rate, with reports showing daily demolitions in the area.
This has been met with sharp criticism both domestically and internationally as the continued demolitions contribute to an already fragile situation in the West Bank.
