The Israeli occupation military court sentenced the Palestinian prisoner Khalil Dweikat, 47 years, from the town of Rujib, east of occupied Nablus, to life imprisonment, according to Prisoners Information Office.
The Prisoners Information Office stated that the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped Dweikat on August 24, 2020, and transferred him to the investigation, which lasted for more than a month.
The Israeli occupation authorities isolated Dweikat in solitary confinement after his arrest for 6 months. They demolished his house, in November 2020, in which his six daughters reside with their mother.
After his trial was postponed many times, today he was sentenced to life imprisonment, in addition to a fine of 280,000 shekels.
It should be noted that the number of Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment in the Israeli occupation prisons rose to 550 prisoners.
