Palestinian Prisoners Club said that since the beginning of 2022, the Israeli occupation forces have arrested 3,400 Palestinian citizens, including children, women, and the elderly.
The Prisoners club said in a statement: “The arrest campaigns carried out by the occupation forces were accompanied by a high intensity of crimes and systematic violations.”
It stressed that the systematic arrest campaigns still constitute the most prominent policies pursued by the occupation against the Palestinians and the Arabs, since its occupation of Palestine, accompanied with torture and constant abusive policies.
The occupation continues to detain about 4,700 prisoners, including about 600 administrative detainees, and 551 prisoners who are serving life sentences, including 25 prisoners detained before the signing of the Oslo Agreement.
