The Israeli occupation army began on Wednesday, September 4, 2022, its military exercises near the security fence surrounding the besieged Gaza Strip.
A military spokesman for the Israeli occupation army said, “These exercises were prepared in advance, within the military training plan for the current year, with the aim of maintaining ‘vigilance and the readiness’ of the forces to face any emergency.”
Local sources added that there is an active, military movement of the Israeli occupation forces around the Gaza Strip, and the sounds of explosions will be heard in the area, during the military exercises, which will last for hours.
The Israeli occupation army conducts military exercises from time to time, under the pretext of testing the readiness of its forces, as well as examining the preparations of the Israeli military home front for any possible confrontation. These military exercises are conducted to confront the Palestinian resistance operations against military and settlement targets of the occupation in the vicinity of the Gaza Strip.
