Galgalatz reported that the Israeli occupation military has issued fresh regulations to its soldiers, which involve being ready to engage in gunfire if there is any unusual activity from an Egyptian soldier.
The army gave its soldiers new guidelines on Monday for how to handle any potential situations in the area near the border, according to Israeli Army Radio.
The border fence was off-limits to Israeli soldiers, who had to keep away and not move closer without the commander’s permission. Nevertheless, Israeli soldiers have been given new orders to perceive any atypical motion by Egyptian troops across the border as a potential act of aggression, prompting them to prepare for gunfire.
Under the revised regulations, Israeli soldiers stationed in the border region are obligated to don helmets and promptly notify their leadership of any detected movement.
According to the Hebrew radio station, the Israeli occupation military currently regards “Egyptian policemen who were previously allies just 10 days ago” as a potential threat.
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army will issue its final investigation into the incident where an Egyptian soldier shot and killed 3 Israeli soldiers about 10 days ago.
