Israeli occupation navy attacked on Sunday night, November 27, the Palestinian fishermen off Rafah shore, southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian local sources reported that the Israeli navy opened fire at Palestinian fishermen and chased several boats West of Rafah City.
No injuries have been reported. However, several fishermen were detained and others were forced to stop sailing and leave the sea to find safety.
Meanwhile, Nizar Ayyash, the head of the Palestinian Fishermen’s Syndicate, reported that Israeli occupation forces detained 6 Palestinian fishermen off Rafah Shore, south of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Under the Israeli blockade, Palestinian fishermen are subjected to daily attacks by Israeli gunboats stationed several nautical miles off the Gaza shore.
Last October, the Israeli navy carried out 54 attacks against Palestinian fishermen and their fishing materials in the Gaza Strip.
