Israeli occupation navy attacked on Tuesday evening, September 27, the Palestinian fishermen, southern and northern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the Israeli navy heavily opened fire and targeted the fishermen with poison gas bombs at the short of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
In a related development, the Israeli navy opened fire at Palestinian fishermen who were fishing 6 miles from the Gaza port, in an attempt to sink their boats.
No injuries have been reported. However, Palestinian fishermen were forced to stop working and flee the sea to find safety.
Palestinian reports revealed last August that the Israeli occupation has committed about 150 violations against Palestinian fishing boats and fishermen in besieged Gaza in 2022.
About 3606 Palestinian fishermen risk their lives every day to make a living under difficult economic conditions. They are the most affected by the Israeli air, land, and sea blockade suffocating all life aspects in Gaza.
