Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning, August 1, opened fire at Palestinian agricultural lands and fishing boats, in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire at the Palestinian shepherds while grazing their sheep east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation navy targeted the Palestinian fishermen sailing off Gaza Shore with live bullets. No injuries have been reported.
About 4000 Palestinian fishermen risk their lives every day to make a living. According to the Palestinian Fishermen’s Association in Gaza, there are some 4,000 fishermen working in Gaza’s fishing sector, who are providing for about 50,000 dependents.
Palestinians in Gaza are living under air, land, and sea blockade imposed by Israel since 2006. Israel deliberately targets Palestinian fishing boats and agricultural lands on daily basis.
