Israeli occupation forces attacked Thursday, 21 September 2023 Al-Eizariya Girls Basic School after blowing up its doors, firing stun and gas grenades excessively toward the Palestinian students inside the school.
The school’s principal Cyrine Pharaon stated that the Israeli occupation forces raided the school, blew up its doors, seized its surveillance camera recordings, destroyed part of its contents, and caused major material damage.
She added that the teachers and students were shocked by the extent of destruction caused by the Israeli troops during the storming of the school.
Local media reported that the Israeli occupation forces directly fired stun and gas grenades excessively toward the Palestinian students inside the high school, suffocating dozens of them.
Palestinian schools have witnessed reiterated offenses by Israeli forces including attacking Palestinian students with tear gas bombs, injuring and suffocating dozens of others, and preventing them from reaching their schools.
