Palestinian medical sources reported that Israeli occupation forces shot two Palestinians with live bullets after invading the north of al-Bireh city, close to Ramallah, on Tuesday night.
The sources said that the two injured Palestinians, both young men, were hit by live bullets in their thighs and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of them was in critical condition, while the other was in moderate condition.
The clashes broke out when Israeli occupation forces attacked a peaceful march that was organized by Palestinians to protest the ongoing Israeli aggression on Jenin city and its refugee camp, where at least 10 people have been killed and hundreds wounded since Monday.
The Israeli occupation forces also raided the adjacent area of al-Balou and chased the protesters who were expressing their solidarity with Jenin. They arrested one Palestinian youth and fired tear gas and stun grenades at the crowd.
The Israeli aggression on Jenin has caused widespread damage to the city’s infrastructure and residents’ properties, as well as sparking outrage and condemnation from Palestinian factions and human rights groups.
